Röntgenhof: apartments and interest list
Röntgenhof does not keep a waiting list but an interest list. Your application is valid for six months; after that you submit it again in full.
Cooperatives › Röntgenhof
Apartments that become available go through the interest list. For apartments that become available, Röntgenhof invites people from its own interest list; we did not find listings for individual apartments on roentgenhof.ch.
We monitor over 100 other cooperatives in the Canton of Zurich and notify you immediately about new listings. We send you first lettings of new Röntgenhof buildings with the search subscription as soon as they are publicly announced; individual apartments that become available are not included. Röntgenhof does not publish any limits. The application form asks for your gross annual income.
- Is there a waiting list?
No. Röntgenhof keeps an interest list. The application is valid for six months, and the selection is independent of when you registered.

Frequently asked questions
- Why does it not work out despite repeated applications?
Röntgenhof writes that a very large number of applications arrive regularly, while notice is given on apartments relatively rarely. It says there are far more applications than apartments that can be newly let. There is at no time an entitlement to be allocated an apartment.
- Will I find out whether my application has arrived?
You get an automated confirmation of receipt. Röntgenhof does not individually confirm receipt, date or completeness, and there are no interim updates on the letting status. Incomplete applications are not considered.
- Are dogs and cats allowed at Röntgenhof?
Dogs are expressly prohibited. A maximum of two domestic cats are allowed per rented property, provided they are kept exclusively inside the apartment. Small pets are allowed in the usual numbers; larger pets need written consent beforehand.
- Are new-build apartments advertised publicly?
For the new building in Tagelswangen (44 apartments, move-in May 2026), Röntgenhof announced in the members' newsletter that the apartments would also be advertised publicly. In Rümlang, 42 of the 74 apartments in the first phase went to people within the cooperative. Röntgenhof is currently not accepting applications for the second phase in Rümlang.
- What applies to temporary (fixed-term) apartments?
Röntgenhof lets apartments that will soon make way for a replacement building only on a fixed-term basis. With a fixed-term tenancy you do not become a member of the cooperative, and you pay a rent deposit instead of share capital.
New-build projects

The second phase will create 65 apartments (Tempelhofstr. 7 and 9). Depending on the page, Röntgenhof gives completion as spring, summer or late summer 2027. Röntgenhof is currently not accepting applications or registrations for phase 2.
